Who is eligible?
All persons
60 years of age or older residing within the geographical
boundaries of Region 13. Grandparents and relative caregivers of children under 18 need to only be age 55 or older to recieve support for themselves and the children in their care.
Preference
and priority in the delivery of services shall be given
to older persons with the greatest social or economic need,
with particular attention to low-income minority individuals,
frail and/or disabled individuals, and older individuals
residing in rural areas.
Self declared
income may be one of several factors considered for prioritizing
clients for service.

The approval
process takes 5-10 working days (after receiving all the
paperwork) and the client will be notified by mail.
